There's no need to have four guys on camera at all times, and then bring in Peter King. Seems like that's the trend; somewhere, somebody decided that NFL shows need 4 or 5 hosts. I find it unwatchable. Len and Nick were fine. NFL Primetime with Berman and Jackson was fine. There's no room for so many commentators. The NBC show is a disaster. Two separate hosting areas (Castas-Olberman-Peter effing King and "the Players Table") and they spend too much time showing off their fancy set. Unwatchable.
Sorry guess I am not with anybody here. I liked the show with who they had on it and would watch it again wherever they show it.
And talking about their own playing careers. I was sick of Marino ten years ago, Olberman 15 years ago and Costas 20 years ago.
ITAL SEA....I think were close in age. I remember waiting, each week, for NFL Game of The Week. Kalas was and still is in my mind, the best describing NFL games. I even remember the sponsors of NFLGOW....Mazda...GLC a great little car and Edge shave Gel. Times were different, no cable, sportscenter etc. You basically saw all the highlights of games at halftime of Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell.
Yup, Wesley Walker was my favorite player too. I remember if the Jets were blacked out at Shea and won the game, I couldn't wait to see the highlights on Inside The NFL. Seeing the highlights of road games wasn't nearly as exciting because I had seen the game, especially losses. I also remember my disappointment every Friday when I'd come home to check the newspaper and it would say Sunday's game will be blacked out. It was at that young age I became determined to one day be a season ticket holder.
He's not as bad a Keyshawn is on ESPN, he sounds like a total moron half the time, glad he's not really linked to the Jets anymore, he's embarrassing.
It used to be a great show, when they showed the highlights of every game and Len and Nick were that not untruding on the show. It will likely be back in some form, hopefully the old form when it was great show.
