    Idzik failed in 2 consecutive drafts. He was overwhelmed. I'm evaluating Idzik over a 2 yr period - the 2 drafts in which only 1 or 2 picks out of about 19 have looked 1/2 way decent. He cut a number of players.

    I like that he has a scouting background because the Jets can't afford to keep missing in the draft. Hopefully the team can find a competent cap guy to handle the contracts.

    I read that he has been freinds with Marrone since there days with the London Monarchs,who goes out of there way to make that up?That's not breaking news

    That just made we wonder,that was in 1991 I belive the article said, how old is this guy Maccalagn?That's gonna suck to say the name Maccalagn all the time

    I've never seen a GM candidate who's background info is so tough to find,its like the guy doesn't exist except on paper

    If we are going to hire this gentleman could someone tell me how to pronounce his name. The Irish way is McCann but I am prepared to learn a new way if he is hired.

    Not a big deal, but you don't need the 10 character minimum anymore, if you didn't know.

    I believe it's either "Mcain" or "Macainin"

    Reminds me of Idzik. When we hired him I looked all over. He didn't even have a wikipedia page then.

    I find it interesting that by bringing in Maccagnan, we will essentially be receiving all of the Texans' draft preparation and insights..
