Mangold & Pryor were the only 2 that did not return. Richardson returned, thought I saw Skrine back in there too. Mangold would be a devastating loss to the O...

I'm no doctor, but Mangold did walk off on his own and even smirked otw to the sideline. Gotta be some sense of optimism here.

That was a good sign. They did cart him back to the locker room though... Hopefully he was just hitching a ride.

I got the cart back to the locker room notification, but I saw him walk off.

I'm going to put faith in my fellow Nick and trust him for next week. We're going into a trap game, but we will win at Oakland for once. 5-2.

I would guess against Buffalo....but that is just my uneducated stab at it.

Milliner played good in the time he played last year outside of GB game (i didn't expect him to contain Jordy Nelson anyway), and was said to be getting better and better in camp... now as a DIME corner he'll at least LOOK good since his level of competition is lowered greatly. He can only add to our secondary. He'll be cleared to play week 8 but who knows.. Todd Bowles has no issue not playing someone and Marcus Williams has done his job well, McDougle has been decent as well. We're so damn deep at corner

Let's keep him off the field until the final snap of the season so he can claim he was healthy for an entire year next year. But odds are he'll probably get injured in that one snap.

Who cares, honestly. He's our #5 corner when healthy.

Milliner has looked good when playing off his man or in a zone. He's looked weak in constant press coverage. He was a really bad fit for Rex's defense. He might be much better in Bowle's scheme.

    Bowles primarily plays man coverage..
he changes up looks to keep QB's guessing, but if Milliner can't play man, i don't think he'll see too much of the field.
    Williams is the better option.

    From an article on NFL.com

    Calvin Pryor - Out
    Devin Smith - Out
    Billal Powell - Out
    Chris Owusu - Out
    Nick Mangold - Doubtful
    Eric Decker - Questionable
    Buster Skrine - Questionable
    Willie Colon - Questionable

    Ouch.

On a positive note, we should see some more Kerley...

Definitely. If Decker doesn't play, or at least play the full game we could see a lot of Kerley, which is a good thing.

Owusu was released so he's obviously not playing. ;)
The Pryor one sucks, outside of that we're good. Mangold, Skrine and Decker are going to play I'd assume. The rest doesn't really matter.

Not sure about Mangold - neck injury is hard to bounce back from

Worried as they have upped their game this year - feel like we win but 20-14 with Revis picking Carr late on to seal the win

Yeah you're right, I forgot Owusu was released. I do think having Powell in there over Stacy would be a decent boost though, especially on passing downs.

Ridley was activated as well, so I'm guessing he will get some touches behind Ivory.

Mangold will play injured. That may end up hurting production, but not as much as having a backup center who has no idea how to call the blocking coverages.
