It will be fun cuz all the games are at 1. We still needa beat the Titans first tho. NBC and espn arent really mentioning the jets as wildcard contenders, but when they see 7-7 i think people will be like oh shit the jets are right behind the bengals.

in which case they'll never control their own destiny since all three teams play at 1pm that week. They'll have to win and hope for the best.

For the sake of ESPN's game tomorrow and the ratings for it, we will have a bunch of mentions of the Jets being taken seriously as a wildcard contender unless the Titans blow us out early in the game.

ESPN would be foolish not to play it up for the Jets to be taken seriously in the playoff race.

I think NBC/CBS/FOX all mentioned us in the AFC wilcard race saying if strange things happen we can sneak in. Didn't spend time, but mentioned. We weren't mentioned or on the graphic last week. ESPN will hype it up a lot to sell the game especially since the playoff scenarios are pretty straight forward for us

Jets have done this twice in the last 12 years in 2000 and 2008. It's not that much of a stretch. In fact given the rookie QB I would say it was a real possibility if they didn't have a 2-12 team in the lead for the 1 pick in the schedule.

The Jets aren't a normal scenario when it comes to missing the playoffs or losing

Jets talk has died down since Tebow's been inactive or hasn't gotten in. Strange why it is but I like that....just fly under the radar. Just have to hope Rex doesn't entice or start a fire to get the Bolts or Bills to play for something if we beat TEN. Needn't start up anything like we did last year vs SD, outside of their game vs PIT, this team has lost their way and are going to be without Ryan Matthews.

Bills just flat out gave up today vs SEA....it was embarrassing. They might want to play spoiler if we are 8-7 but I mean they just look so defeated. The Rams comeback win just did them in I feel.

Pats might make a rally in them.........

If NE can pull off the comeback, this will make Houston hard pressed to fight and it doesn't make the Vikings/Texans game a must to watch/root for.

They aren't talking about us because we are winning ugly. Nothing to see really. Jets win, Tebow/McElroy didn't come in, move on.

I would rather get them all season, but hey what can you do? At least we can always count on the Bills to be on of those teams

That's what happens when the first 3/4 of your schedule is the most difficult in the league.

The Cowboys did us a huge favor today so did the Texans,How great would it be if the Jets got in the playoffs and the Giants after being dominate early in the year missed and continued to fall apart like they usally do this time of year

Intangible thing that helps our chances. Every team we play is eliminated from playoff contention.

Odds are that they are all going to try to lose to get a higher draft pick. We're playing them at just the right time.

Beat the Bengals and Steelers back to back and were a chip shot FG away from doing the same to the Ravens?

I feel bad the Jets beat the Boys Week 1 last year....you would have saved us a Giants parade in the process. Shame both of our teams shit the bed vs them in December.
