follow my logic. when you have tom fucking brady giving you a 2 score lead ANY DEFENSE will play well. It's called dropping everybody into coverage...

but yes you guys do indeed have a promising young defense.. with mccourty.

but thats all i see. you guys will probably get another star in this draft though. BB is sure to get 1 good player out of 100picks.

    obvious ignorance is obvious

What the fuck do you know about the Jets salary situation? Better yet, what the fuck do you know about how much cap space the Jets will have? If you make definitive statements you better know what the fuck you're talking about.

Nobody knows what the cap situation will be. If the cap is similar to this year, the Jets will have to make some tough decisions on who to keep and where they can fill holes less expensively, as they have alot of money tied up already.

...But so do the Pats. Though the Pats have a (unearned IMO) rep for being cheap on contracts, because they never give top dollar (Brady is the exception), they do pay there midlevel players very well, and are always at or near the cap. They have to deal with mankins and Light. Brady and Wilfork have large new contract...

That said, because the Pats have so many inexpensive young players, they should be in a little better position to bring in a difference maker (Lamarr Woodley?). Of course, the Pats (D especially) have more holes to fill than the Jets defensively especially.

I made a thread in the Jets forum, if the salary cap goes up to 130 million (2 million bump) the Jets will have about ~28 million in cap space if they make some difficult but logical decisions. It's not like they're gonna be in cap hell.
