It was only allowed when the other guy was tripping all over his dick. Apparently it hits a nerve now that this guy is. It really hasn't been overt. If it's that bothersome, don't read the thread.
I don't have a problem with political posts, but if political posts are allowed, that should be clear to everyone, so we can all post what we want. And if they aren't allowed, people should be considerate and not post them.

I think the unspoken (untyped?) rule has been to not respond to it if it goes against your views. Post the memes , save the banter for elsewhere.
Man. Why is it not OK for folks not wanting politics in a fun thread? Politics are everywhere on TV, on media on our private lives. This is one thread supposed to be fun for everyone. Why ruin it with politics?
Maybe you can point me to all the political posts that you claim were in here previously. There may have be the random post here and there but not the same poster posting numerous unfunny political shit posts in a row. As far as it not being overt, I think your definition of overt is different from 99.9% of the population. It's absolutely clear in just about every political post what political party the poster jerks off to. That doesn't even take into account that this thread is for Inappropriate Humor. Someone wants to post and read dad jokes and political commentary are welcome to start a thread for that and I won't read that thread. This is for those that keep posting political shit.
