David Harris is absolutely amazing in run coverage, it's like the Jets have another defensive lineman. But he is definitely a liability in pass pro. He calls the defense, and it is becoming very apparent that there are real communication issues pre snap with the defense. I like Harris for what he is, but Rex needs to shelve that veteran-loving tendency he has and put someone else in charge of calling the defense, and he needs to lessen the prominence of Harris. But he won't, and players will continue to be out of position, and Harris will continue to be on the field for passing downs, flopping his cheeks behind an offensive receiver that gains 5-15 yards easily.
