I disagree. I believe JD drafted players that fit Gase’s “system”. I believe not signing Anderson was the right move. I believe part of his job is to placate the media and fans: better to just say “I misjudged the market” than “we are not in the position to pay a mediocre player top dollar” - he backed it up by paying mediocre players mediocre money. If Zach somehow plays like a top 10 QB, then we could grab a wild card spot, even in a loaded AFC. But I'm not holding my breath for that.
The thing about the Loaded West and Loaded North, each team has to play 6 games within the division. The AFC West is also Playing the NFC West. 5-5 for just West Coast games is 100% realistic. We get to play the weak NFC N. Injuries could derail any teams season. Here’s to hoping we stay healthy.
The defense, offense and, especially the Oline and Dline will all be significantly improved. The jets now have very good skill position players all across the offense - TE, WRs and RBs (all significantly upgraded). If Zack plays like a top 10 QB, then the jets should be in the playoffs and maybe even be able to make a deep run this year.
On Paper..JD is converting me back since I jumped off his Bandwagon The whole Football World giving him tons of praise..so how can you possibly complain ??? Smh...even if this infusion of talent blows up JD will have a job somewhere in the NFL
