I would rather imagine the linebackers stay the same and have a front three that consisted of 3 Animals that can collapse the pocket and take on blockers. The LB's are not and will not be the weakness of this defense as presently constituted. Thomas would be a tremendous pickup for sure. Why on earth would the FO go and draft another LB or two if they signed him, while virtually ignoring the absolute weakest part of the team?
