I don't know what a Miami fan would be doing here this AM. We beat u last week and you lost again this week...but the Jets get blown out so that takes precedent with the Miami fan. A Jets loss is a big thing to them and when it's a terrible loss the Miami fan has now decided that every minute of every Jets game will now be like this. The score will be 50-0 the other team everytime they turn on the Jets and they can masturbate into a tissue while projecting out the successful future of the Miami Dolphins.
Lol that happens every year. Oh yea its just a rebuilding year is such a cop out. Its just code for we suck ass now so hopefully in the future we won't suck ass. Dolphins fans would rather sweep the Jets than make the playoffs.
Before I get started on this, I seriously don't understand why anybody wastes time responding to junc. Resiliant? More like pig headed. His next great insight will be his first. Anyway, on this Stanton for Tebow move last winter - if the Jets had Stanton on the roster, I think they'd be playing him right now. So why not Tebow? The "logic" of the Tebow trade such as it was explained was not to use him as the backup. It was to "supplement" Sanchez, you know, much like the Niners yesterday used the wildcat to change it up. But anyone who seriously believes Tebow should now be the Jets' starting Qb has not been seeing how bad he has been playing, and what a fluke he was last year. Now the Jets are in the worst case scenario I and some others feared last year. Stanton left, there is a Qb controversy brewing between two Qb's neither of whom is the answer, and there remains three quarters to the season. Having the roster the Jets have right now, what do you do? The next game has all the potential to be even worse than yesterday, on MNF no less. Leave Sanchez in? Why, just to make sure he doesn't turn into someone who was a good draft pick four years ago at the fifth pick in the draft? I was prepared to give him the season to show whether he should stay or go. But yesterday was painful. I don't think the fans, the players, can take much more of this awful play. But putting in Tebow? Let's be clear about this - There is absolutely no reason to think he would do any better. None. I would frankly at some point not too far off see what McElroy can do. At least the Jets can determine if he deserves a place on next year's roster, even if not as the starter. The other two guys at this point if I had to bet neither will be the starter, and may not even be on the team. I know the team as a whole played badly. Other than Cro pretty much everyone else was mediocre to lousy. But I've just about had it with Sanchez.
Me? I'm a Jets fan on a Jets site and I don't go to Miami Dolphins sites when they lose to make myself feel better about my teams fate.
Actually, the one pass Tebow threw yesterday was the best pass any Jet QB threw all day long..by far.
Don't flatter yourself. The Dolphins have been a horrible organization since Shula left and reached rock bottom from 2007-2011. No one is more critical of them then I am so if you are trying to get a rise out of me, it wont work. The difference right now between the two is that the Dolphins have a rookie QB, a lot of cap space and 5 picks in the first three rounds. As long as Philbin is giving his input into the picks I am fine with it. I would much prefer Ireland get fired but we won't know that until after the season. The Jets are in cap hell and have a major rebuild in front of them. If you dont see it, I don't know what to tell you.
Yeah that 6 yard jump up and ugly looking pass was really impressive. Its not his fault the guy got injured and fumbled but when you throw like a little girl instead of zipping the ball in there it leaves your receiver out to dry.
Your loss has nothing to do with me feeling better about the Dolphins. I like to discuss football just like the Jets fans who visit our site.
I don't care about getting a rise out of you. You are on a Jets site after a loss acting like all is right with the Phins and all is wrong with the Jets. We beat you 2 weeks ago and our team is a mess right now. If the Dolphins are going in the right direction I dont see it. Great running game and very good O line play. Tannehill apparently is playing great and the WRs are setting records. So why are you 1-3. Your D has played well too. Apparently this new coaching staff and organization is so much better too. 1-3 with all these great pieces you got here. Just another rebuilding year. No expectations.
Don, You're not a good poster. Since I first came here that's been apparent, and I am gonna go way out on a limb here and predict you never will be a good poster. That pass was nothing. By far? Lmao. You need a different hobby than posting here.
Well since you asked, our secondary is garbage. We have perhaps the worst FS and one of the worst CBs starting and our nickel is not much better. They are giving up more then 300 yards per game and until yesteday, only had 1 interception in the first 3 games. In fact, our defense has not been generating turnovers and that goes back several seasons. Kicking. Our FG kicker sucks ass. I dont understand why they didn't bring in competition this year but I expect to see it next. He has single handedly cost us 2 games. Tannehill making rookie mistakes and turning the ball over. You cant win when you throw 2-3 Ints in a game. That comes with the territory though. For each mistake he has made, he has several really solid plays. Guy had 16 starts in college and 4 starts in the NFL and you can see the growth if you take the time to watch.
The Jets are not in cap hell at all. They never have been and never will be as long as Tanny is our GM. I laugh when I see posts like this. You realize the Jets are currently $6 million under the cap, and we stand to shed a ton of cap room after this season, since half our team are on their last contracts?
I agree that neither QB will be here next year, but I think Tebow is a better option at this point. Mark is what he is, we know what we're gonna get and it isn't good. Tim, even though he throws poorly, he does get rid of the ball or run, he makes good decisions... albeit poorly executed at times. I think that is better than the poor decisions with poor execution Mark is giving. I wouldn't be against McElroy either. I wonder if we're still seeing this "Vanilla" offense because Sanchez just isn't smart enough to handle a real NFL offense.
Brady would struggle to win w/ this bunch. you guys are always rebuilding, in this league it has been proven you can win w/ rooke QBs and rookie HCs. The playoffs were not unrealistic, I still think they are possible. Not playing like we did yesterday but there aren't any great teams in the AFC. we have to greatly improve, I wouldn't cancel our season in week 4 just like I wouldn't for you guys either. Long way to go. we are playing poorly and yet are still 2-2 and in 1st place.
one of the worst posters on the site calling out one of the best and the best part is one of the worst is afraid to debate one of the best. he's too gutless so he has posters on ignore.
Well, so much for those who predicted great things when Schotty was run out of town. All those "Schotty is holding this team back!" Or "The playcalling is what's killing this highly talented group of players!" Did you see the play where on third down the Jets threw it to Cumberland about four yards short of the first down marker? Heh. The Schotty haters here made a long running thread based on one play where Sanchez threw it on third down short of hte marker. It had several hundred posts on it, almost all by Schotty haters. Btw I see that St. Louis won yesterday, against a Seattle team that has looked very good. Oh well.
