MM's playcalling today is freaking God awful.

Geno Smith is just not an NFL caliber QB.

Geno Smithdtard should be cut at the half and perhaps admitted to a home for special needs adults, because I have never seen such poor stewardship of the QB position. I really think Geno has the IQ of a retarded person, that's the only explanation for this abortion of a performance.

If Simms doesn't start the 2nd half then Rex shouldn't coach the next game

And what exactly do you want MM to do? His QB cannot execute the pass plays that are sent in.

This thread should also be titled "morons in the front office" who continue to draft defense for 5 years now while this offense is putrid.

It's not just the qb it's the garbage that the qb has been surrounded with has gotten progressively worse since Rex got here. He doesn't know what offense is and it show by how the team drafts

I feel like no matter who the QB this team has no clue how to develop anyone... or for that mater surround anyone with decent talent

Come April, they need to draft a qb and develop him next season and do whatever's necessary to get that pick right. No second round pick that 31 teams passed on for a reason when some of those teams had a desperate need at the qb position.

None of this impulsive, unrealistic win now one step forward two steps back mindset the organization has had for years.

I doubt it would matter in the long term scope of things but I think they would have about 2 more wins right now if Sanchez never got hurt.

Still though in that case a 6 seed would be their celling and it would be the same ol jets. A few bad seasons followed by at best back to back 9-7 8-8 "feel good" years where they make the playoffs but have no real shot to win anything.

I still think they should bring back McElroy. He was the smartest qb on that roster and would do well under MM I think.
