    Because they usually suck.

Miller is on his way to Canton and he's 30 still plenty of good football left in him.

I doubt it happens because Denver would be crazy to trade him away and the Jets rarely make moves like that. New England would be more likely to make it happen.

    Still I keep hope alive.

    It hasn't been the solution.

No we cut them like we did with Polite.

Or draft busts like Leo, Gholston, Milliner, Coples, Buttfumble, Geno, Richardson, Wilson etc.

Trade for a surefire future HOFer with plenty of gas left in his tank nah can't do that.

We need that draft capital yes we do. Can't live without it.

  3. A 30 year old pass rusher dependent on his quickness & agility to have success has plenty of gas in the tank?Absolutely not.

In a league where 42 years old Brady still does what he does and 36 years old Frank Gore still runs you think Miller is too old at 30?

Things have changed what that is I don't know but something has changed.

So your argument is the exception not the rule.

And Tom Brady throws a football for a living and is babied by the league when he is touched.

A 30 year old pass rusher running full speed into 350lb. linemen, every single play, will not have the same shelf life as a 42 year old Tom Brady who gets a flag if someone farts near him

    Not really.

Point is Brady is great, Gore has compiled his way to near the top of the list of all-time rushers and because of that he'll be in Canton someday.

    Miller is great.

Great players are great because of their work ethic and other intangible qualities that seperate them from the pack.

Last time I checked Miller hasn't suffered any serious injuries that I'm aware of.

I think Miller still has plenty of gas left in his tank.

Torn ligament in thumb and torn ACL in his knee.

And again, you are arguing the exception, not the rule.

You keep bringing up 2 guys in your argument. One is a QB. The other is a fluke.

Name me high level pass rushers over the age of 30 still competing at a high level in the NFL?

Comparing Von Miller to Tom Brady is ridiculous. Two ENTIRELY different positions when it comes to body abuse

What makes you think Miller can help this shitty team win when he can't help his current shitty team win?

  13. We’ll sign Tebow, hire Tom Osbourne as coach to the run the power I option & just load up on 280 lb OL & elite running backs. We cant scout or draft WRs anyway so we’ll find niche guys who are good at blocking.

    Championship!

As much as I'd love someone like Miller, I agree that we need to focus on stockpiling draft picks. Miller isn't going for anything less than a 2nd rounder, and probably a conditional 1st rounder after that. We've spent too many years trading away draft picks for big names in the middle or backside of their careers. I'd gladly pay a premium for him if he was a free agent, but we need to hit the next few drafts hard.

we can get Stephen Hill out of retirement. He was a blocking WR in college (and it showed)

we are likely to have a top 5 pick, if not a top 3 pick - we can get either a premium LT or WR which I would much, much rather have than a 30 yeard old defensive lineman - in fact any defensive lineman not called Aaron

With all the needs this roster has, there's not a player presently in the NFL worth trading our #1 pick for. We're at least 5 players away from even being respectable on both sides of the ball. You can thank Macc for this roster and his predecessor.

I'd give up our entire roster for Mahomes.

Fuck what the Dolphins are doing. I'd fuckin get rid of every single player and send them all to Kansas City for him
