Sanchez is awful, no more excuse for the guy. He doesn’t have the intelligence to play QB, that’s his biggest problem. He has trouble reading defenses, all good QB’s audible at the line (Brandy, Manning Eli and Peyton, Breese, Kaepernick, Flacco etc..) Sanchez runs into the asses of his own player. He’s prone to INT’s cause he stares down his receivers and the defenses read the play 9 times out of 10. I still say, Smartest QB I’ve ever seen in Green is Pennington. Put his brain in Sanchez body, Jets would have won a SB already.
How would you have any legitimate basis for proclaiming that Manuel is better than Smith? (Other than being a Bills homer, of course) FYI, Geno Smith was almost universally considered to be the highest rated quarterback in this year's draft. So, please, defend your seemingly baseless assertion.
who cares what they did in college??? This is the NFL - its a different game. Smith needs to step up and perform if he wants to be a starting QB. Thus far Sanchez has looked like the better QB - which is too bad since Sanchez is mediocre at best.
? Both are good QBs, but I wouldn't exactly put them in the league of Brady, Eli, Peyton, and Brees in terms of reading defenses. They don't even compare, really. Flacco and Kaepernick rely more on physical ability than anything.

PLEASE do not compare Sanchez to Favre, Tarkenton or Vinny. They threw INTS taking shots deep. Sanchez throws INTS to onrushing Dlinemen! Those QBs could throw deep and if INT it was like a punt! Sanchez throws pick6 like he invented them! Fran could run circles around Sanchez and still drive the ball on a line!
When will Sanchez realize you don't throw to a receiver with 3 defenders on him, especially in the Redzone,, that pic cost the team 3 points and the last play of half was totally Sanchez fault, that cost them another 3 pts...SANCHEZ SUCKS !!!!!!
I have to agree Kentucky. There's no way in hell any sane person could mention Hairband in the same sentence with those quality NFL QB's. Hairband may get the hang of being a NFL Qb one of these days, but don't expect it to happen anytime soon. He's a guy that probably could really prosper from a year or two in the CFL.
How the hell after they recovered that punt fumble at the 3 yd line did they not run the wildcat with Powell,, that wildcat was working good,,Instead Sanchez ran, then a terrible pass, then he wasted the clock with a bullshit incomplete so they couldn't get 3 pts,,,,SANCHEZ SUCKS.
It's so sad & stupid that i have to keep clarifying my statement.why is everyone so programmed to compare players in every imagineable facet.For the last time i was not saying that sanchez is in anyway on the same level as favre.not even close.Im just reminding folks that there have been some good qbs who had habits of throwing ints.Hence sanchez can STILL be a good player. You guys can think im an idiot i dont care. Its pretty ridiculous that i have to go to these lengths for what was a miniscule portion of my entire point.
Did anyone notice when the Jets got in the Redzone and ran the ball(took it out of Sanchez hands ) they scored and when they were in the Redzone and left it to Sanchez he threw a pic and that horrible play to end the half...SANCHEZ SUCKS !!
I'd love to hear the rationale behind this garbage. What exactly has Kolb accomplished in the NFL?Say what you will about Sanchez but he at least has good playoff performances & some great comebacks under his belt. It's beyond ridiculous to suggest this & is borderline trolling. Other than going higher in the draft...what makes Manuel better than Geno? Frankly he was an underachiever in college despite his physical skills & the elite surrounding cast he had around him.
