The Jets need SF to pay a lot of Jimm G.'s salary then we would have to move a lot of money around as we are out of cash this year and I believe we have almost no salary cap room next year.
Yes to Jimmy g. I didn’t know Flacco was even still alive let alone in the league. Maybe Fitzmagic would come out of retirement?
Did you see how much money we spent this year? We have 11-12 new starters. 13 if Wilson is out. Our roster is not actually bad. Our starters are much better and our depth is much better thank last year. If you look at the starters, every position has at worst a league average starter except QB. Some positions like DL and CB have some amazing depth.
Looks like an ACL just from the play. It was either that or a hamstring from it being non contact. Sure as shit not buying anything that Twitter handle tries to sell though
After blowing the 2020 draft and going all in on Zach, no way should Douglas be allowed to trade assets for a mid-tier QB who will win 7 games, cost us Young/Stroud, and paper over what a terrible job he's done as GM. If by some miracle, the rest of his 2021 draft and his 2022 draft were actually good, then the team can finish respectably with Flacco, and he can prove he deserves another chance that way. But fuck him if he's going to put his job security over what's best for the team.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's a torn ACL but these don't seem like legit sources. Some random people trying to break a story first
Silver lining, if Zach Wilson did tear his ACL maybe we can get Jimmy G and win 8 games and miss out on the playoffs and get the 17th pick and we can all go jump off a roof. Together. That sounds like fun— Danny Bags (@DannyBagsZ) August 13, 2022 What he said.
Gotta be able to stay on the field. With two knee injuries, including ACL, in back to back years, if we now recall he was hurt some in College with shoulder and hand, it's beginning to look like we have another injury prone guy, now at the most important position. This sucks on so many levels.
