If you take out the Two New England games the only game the defense really blew it for chad was against the Bengals and their defense is worse than ours! Basically we were in our should and could have won 7 out of his nine starts! He did not step up in any game!
I just find it hard to believe you spend such a large percentage of every day of your life on here saying the same things about the same guy. Especially when the guy you're obsessed with doesn't know your alive and most if not all of what you say is completely wrong.

I myself along with all Jet fans was sitting in front of the TV on draft day in 2000 screaming "draft Brady!!!!!!" Weren't we all???? The Defense completely sucked while Chad was starting... that is a fact. It sucked less after the bye when Clemens had more of his starts.

I'm not going back into this circular argument with you... the point is the defense sucked at the beginning of the year and after the bye they improved. It is a well known fact by many people. I can't help it if you didn't watch enough games or can't discern this for yourself.
Are you going to tell me we should be complaining about the defense in games we held the mighty Bills to 14 and 13 points, The Eagles to 16 and the Titans to 10 points? Going into those games any team in the Nfl would gladly take those points against those Mighty teams! Are you kidding me or what. This is the problem I have with Cp supporters. You will sit here and argue that our Defense should pitch shutouts against these Mediocre teams so we can win. We should be scoring at least 20-30 points against these half a** teams. How did the defense play bad in games with those scores. I would gladly take my team giving up 16 points or less in any game played in the Nfl. If you can't score 16 points against the mediocre teams then there is a problem.
If you had watched the show you were have heard Krafts explanation & then you would have compared it to the Woody ownership of us & said ah now I understand why we are constant losing team instead of repeatly defending a owner that has won us NOTHING in his 8 years of ownership. The last paragraph of your post maybe right on the money. Look no matter how you slice & dice it since we were going to draft a QB in that draft OUR staff certainly did not do enough research & scouting into 1 Tom Brady. So we have nobody to blame but ourselves for him to wind up elsewhere then us. H'mm CP over TB at least IMHO is as bad as KOB was over DM. When you see glaring errors like that you can really get to the bottom of why we are a bottom feeding team & will continue to be a bottom feeding team

Hell yes. We should be bitching about the defense. They have a ton of talent on that side of the ball and they should not suck as bad as they did. Had the defense been performing out the gate we would likely have had a couple more wins during the season. Look, its a team game. The offense sucked incredibly bad most of the year. The defense doesn't start really improving until after the bye week (which gee, is when we played Tenn - my point exactly). You can't do that and expect to win games. Meanwhile, all some people will tell you is we need a QB. It really isn't the TOP priority of this team. And stop using the Bills to make some kind of statement. The Bills ain't all that either. They just did a better job than we did this year. Good chance they will go back to sucking again next year.
