First off, I've already acknowleded that you don't just flip the o-line. The real problem is, you don't know how to talk to people politely. Adjusting the blocking schemes does not solve everything. Right tackles are often not as good players as left tackles - not as good at pass protection. So, you end up with an inferior tackle guarding your blind side. Thus, worse protection. Thus, more hits. Get it? Or do you not understand the difference?
My bad, that was kind of a douchey thing to say. As far as the weakness toward the blind side, there are many things teams to to adjust, especially in a zone blocking scheme, pull blocking is kind of a staple. ZOne blocking schemes aren't as static as man schemes. You also have to realize that not a lot of teams utilize speed rushers that are as adept at rushing from the strong side of the line (their left), which means many teams will be weaker pass rushing on Vick's blindside in terms of speed rushing.
Of course the tackles and guards flip. It's like when the manager brings in the lefty reliever, the shortstop and second baseman trade gloves, and both teams exchange infield tarps. Everyone knows that. What the fff...?!
I didn't say the tackles swapped with the guards - I said they swapped to the other side. That's still wrong, but at least there was a misguided uninformed logic behind it- unlike swapping guards and tackles.
Yes, I knew what you meant. I stand by my ridicule. It's ok, bud. I didn't see that your statement had already been jeered and withdrawn. No worries.
