Piss on them if they move and change their name. Actually, it might be better for my long term health if I don't have a team to rile me up so much.
If the Jets moved outside NY/NJ, I wouldn't follow them. Something in me just screams betrayal when a team picks up & changes cities. They can spin it however they want but my interpretation is a big FU to the fanbase (which includes me) in pursuit for more $$$. Obviously the franchise won't give a damn about me jumping off the bandwagon but I'm still leaving. I'd prefer they leave Jets name & logo behind. Go to the new city and enjoy new stadium and big bucks but they don't deserve to carry over their history/lore because it was developed with our fanbase in the NY region. Doubt it would happen but I'd love another team to be created in NY area and have them assume the Jets name (similar to what happened to Cleveland Browns). Not sure which team I'd become a fan of but I do know it can't be the Giants.
