Yeah, but that was always true...AND they could still be used as a receiver. Seems BB is the only one who understood this "obscure" rule.

I'm not ragging on you, just complaining about how some changes in the game don't seem to be that useful.

I totally disagree. If Mac takes a QB at #6, he should be fired immediately. I love both Fournette and Howard, but neither are the player that Adams and Hooker are.

We'll have to agree to disagree on both points. QB, RB, TE are all more impactive to this Jets team than any secondary guy. The only "D" guy that enters into the conversation would be an elite pass rusher.

That's fine. We'll definitely have to agree to agree. I don't think that any of the QBs in the draft would have any impact this season with the Jets whatsoever, and maybe not ever. Mahomes is the only one I'd want, and I think that he's probably a 2-3 year project.

IMO it's also not just a matter of who would be more impactive, but who is the better player at his respective position and who would be with the Jets longer. RBs have the shortest careers on average, so Fournette may not last more than 3-4 seasons, especially if he does have ankle issues or his weight stays on the high end.

I like Howard a lot, but imo he's not nearly the quality of player that both Adams and Hooker are. The big factor in Howard's favor is the Jets' huge need at TE and their having taken so many defensive players in the 1st round.

I agree - do some people not witness what Gronk does to us and the rest of the NFL? Big, athletic, pass catching TE's are nightmare matches for the D.
