    Can't say I'd disagree with that, although I can't see Chad starting for the rest of the year.

    It offensive game plan was significantly altered today to limit the chances of Chad making a mistake. In other words, the coaching staff was treating Chad like a young mistake-prone QB. Therefore, there is zero downside in going to Clemmens.

    No, I think they'll fire Mangini for going 3-13.

    Coaches usually get fired for doing that. It's the sign of a collapsed team. Every once in a while a coach has a bye because Matt Millen is the GM or he has an expansion team or injuries destroyed the season. I don't see any of those factors bailing Mangini out if the Jets go 3-13 this year.
