Well i dont have a dog. I have this racoon that hangs out around my house. I think he got to it. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Nobody had argued those numbers aren’t valid; the argument is what were the other contexts of the game that contributed to those numbers? You can’t simply cite those stats as if they occurred in isolation of any other aspect of the game. That’s cherry picking stats — like arguing the average career length across all players in the league as the benchmark for evaluating Cousins potential career duration from this point. No, there is additional data required before you can draw a conclusion.
What if a deal is already in the works to trade the one spot with the Browns??! We get an instant starter in Rosen the Golden at a fraction of the Enterprise Boys cost..plus a kid can play 10 years plus So there is no "waiting" ...deal in a matter of a few months
http://www.nfl.com/player/kirkcousins/2532820/situationalstats His stat match everything I've said. Hes terrible under pressure. When his team trails, in the readzone, game on the line, etc. High pressure situations account for a surprising large majority of his ints. His completion percentage is off as well. You want cousins for 10 maybe 12....ok thats appropriate. For 25 or 30? No way Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I already didnmy research. Its not my job to do it for you. If you want to dispute it, do what i did. Watch the games and compare the numbers. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
He wont do anything but tell you, youre stupid and dance around actually supplying anything of substance. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Im all for it. I would love nothing more than see the Broncos sign Cousins, Giants go OL or Barkley and we work out a deal with the Colts or Browns to grab one of the SoCal QB’s.
It’s literally all fact. They just don’t make you look smart so you put up the “I need facts” straw man while providing little to no fact yourself. Unless you want me to just believe you’re watching Cousins film daily. And judging by your opinions, I don’t think anyone believes you are. I’ll play your game though. You claim it’s a fact that Cousins gets his numbers when teams slip into prevent. He has more yards and in less attempts in the second and third quarters than the fourth quarter. So unless teams are going into the prevent to start the second half... you’ve made another dumb point.
I don't think it's cherry picking, more like finding certain situational markers that hint at Cousins not being worth the $ for the Jets. Situational football is huge. Red zone efficiency, 2 minute drills. I want to see Cousins excel in more areas before making him the highest paid player in the league. It's not outlandish that we can draft a Baker Mayfield or Darnold and by year two he's already replicating Cousins 2017 season. At a fraction of the cost.
He reminds me of 101 who I have on ignore... They are the STUPID ones...deserve each other..childish and very immature nasty
You might want to double check that. His attempts are higher in the 4th quarter. Ya know, when teams generally go into prevent amd zone Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Doing your research is not presenting your research. That’s part of arguing — if you make an assertion you support the assertion. You have not done so; simply stating you have the research but not actually presenting it is not a valid argument. How about this - the earth is in the middle of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. I’ve done my reasearch and it’s true. If you want to dispute it, do your research and prove my research is wrong, of which you’ve never seen my research because I refuse to present it. That’s your argument structure.
I sent by accident edited it. But ill say it here. Teams ya know going into prevent amd zone in 4th quarter. His attempts are higher in the 2nd and 4th quarters matching about the same. This coincidences with team basically taking their foot off at the half. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Sure whatever. Now youre just justifying your ignorance. Funny part is when i first replied to you, i wasnt actually being a smart ass. I actually gave you more information than I probably would have given anyone. I coulda just said to hell with you, but i didnt. Your attempt to try and show this air of intellectual superiority on the subject pissed me off especially since you took the discussion out of context in the first place. Had you simply just asked, i probably woulda dug up everything i said previously. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
So you're just blindly assuming that in all 2nd quarters, teams went into the prevent defense? Still doesn’t explain why his third quarter yard totals are better than his fourth. And according to you, the fourth is when he pads his stats so... Come on guy. You’re having a rough morning. Just stop.
That's gonna get some replies. I do not like Cousins for the simple fact his play hasn't been the greatest in the big games, but I think he's better than rookie quarterbacks. The thing is, one of those guy's, or maybe two out of the three is going to have a higher ceiling than Cousins. Maybe I'm wrong and the guy we draft is only just as good as Cousins, but he's cheaper. Maybe we draft another bust. Thing is I am willing to take a chance on being great, than settling for immediately being pretty good. That's what it comes down to. Where are you aiming and what is your philosophy for building a champion. There really is no wrong way. You can win a championship with different blueprints. Some windows for winning will be bigger than others.
