I've always disliked the idea of trading down, I think there is good depth in the draft but unless we got an amazing offer I wouldnt consider making the trade

Because this is an actual trade that happened, and not some chart ? A team went from 12th down to 28th, we want to go from 16 to 26th, so we should get a little less
It was also done prior to the rookie salary cap when teams were dying to trade down, and includes a player whose value is difficult to assume.
