I agree. If the Jets don't make the playoffs, even at 10-6, they should get rid of all the assistant coaches and about 20-25 players, including Sanchez. We should bring in one of the veterans off the scrap heap, like McNabb, who surely will be an upgrade over Sanchez, who would only be 33-20 as a starter with 4 playoff wins. What a bum. I long for a return to the early 90's when 8-8 was a good year and making the playoffs was a dream.
Well put. The last two years were the most entertaining Jets football I've watched since 1998 and at least some of that was on a young QB who wouldn't stop fighting at the end even when the team was getting overwhelmed by better teams. One of the things overlooked in the AFC championship game losses is that the Jets best player on the field in both of them was Mark Sanchez. Go look at the numbers in those games. If he did what he did in those games as his usual output 99% of the posters on TGG would be calling him a HoF cinch.
No need to thank me. I told you guys weeks ago, some we're so clearly blinded and clueless by two improbably magical playoff runs by a barely .500 team that you all thought it would some how happen again. The smart ones in the bunch agreed with me and weren't going to be fooled by dominating performances against useless shit teams like Buffalo and Jacksonville. Clean the fucking house.
