We have just as much chance of winning the East at this point as do the Bills. Heck, the Pats still have a very realistic shot at winning the East as do the Phins.

I know I would get some disbelievers on the Phins. My point is it is way too early to anoint somebody the front runner at this point.

were you paying attention to the afc east games at all yesterday?? the bills looked better than all the east yesterday. the guy's prediction may not be all that far fetched. we barely beat miami yesterday!!!

they played the inconsistent seahawks and we played the worst team in the league and almost lost at the end... if your not being bias, then what are you being???

You stop the run, and Roscoe Parrish - the Bills lose... their QB isn't good enough.

Bills looked a heck of a lot better than we did in week #1 IMO, and I'm not sure that's a fluke.

The Bills are not some kind of mirage. Better to acknowledge they'll be a challenge (as Patsies will probably continue to be) instead of burying head in sand and insist anyone who acknowledges that is an "idiot."

2003 Week 1 ring a bell? Bills trounce the Pats 31 - 0. Pats go on to win 14 of 15 and the division...and the SB. Week 1 is largely meaningless.

The Bills have improved as well and should be good. It was apparent in the offseason. THAT'S why he's picking them. I think we improved more and should win the division, but he's certainly entitled to his opinion.

In my opinion, this guy remains an idiot. We could have racked up 30+ points last sunday. Bills had one of does games. Based off of that one game, everyone is siding with this guy. Their is no way, after all those off season acquisitions, we fall in 3rd place (giving Tom Brady was still healthy) in the AFC east. We are a better team than the bills and it is time for everyone here to open your eyes. Our D is just as good or possibly better than them, our Offense is better. This year will be a walk in the park. At the end of the season I will bring this thread back and all of you are gonna laugh at yourselves.

it's way too early in the season to make predicitions with any substance to them...bottom line.

Well then we will need to beat them when we play them. But in the meantime who cares. I've said it a few times, it's the "in" thing to pick against us anyway.

The guy who created this thread is a bigger idiot. Not everyone sees the NFL through the eyes of a Jet fan.

I don't think he's such an idiot. He's being pretty rational; from his standpoint I would probably agree. Doesn't mean shit to us though.

While picking the Bills doesn't make him an idiot I do believe that they are still a step below the Jets at this point. They have a tough defense and solid running game, but do you really think Trent Edwards can lead them to 10 wins? I say they go 8-8 with an outside shot at 9-7 now that the Patriots are no longer a lock for anything.

Oh god, how could anyone still be doubting a 1-0 team coming off of a 4-12 season? How can you look at something with a rational perspective perspective if you will "start loosing respect for all commentators and analysts" if they don't all unanimously pronounce the New York Jets the first team to go 19-0?

This division is entirely up in the air right now.

It's a toss-up between the Jets and Bills. I don't blame anyone for picking the Bills since they're not that bad of a team.

I wouldn't call him an idiot, but I wouldn't call him all that smart either.

All that matters is week 2 against the Pats...If we dont beat them at home without Brady then we dont deserve to win anything!!!

It is way to hard to predict anything at this point. How can anyone have a good gauge of things until atleast after week two?

SeaHawks could be the weakest team in the NFL this year, they haven't played anyone else yet to find out how terrible they really are or if the Bills are actually just that dominate now.

Same goes for the Phins.. They could be a really strong team this year, they may dominate teams this year and make a run. The Jets just might be better. Then again, both teams could be equally bad, we wont know for a little while yet.

I don't think he's an idiot in the slightest, and I'm not basing it off yesterday.

They have a solid O line which in turn gives them a very good rushing attack. Lynch is a pretty good RB and a great one when he has holes for him.

They have a good D line with a great lineman in Schobel (ask Brick about him). They also have a pretty good secondary and good LBers and the addition of Mitchell really makes them better. The loss of Crowell hurts but managable.

They have a pretty good WR in Lee Evans and I was really high on Hardy going into the draft. He has great size and great hands not a burner but certainly a guy that will cause havoc in the red zone.

They have and don't hate me Jet fans, the best special teams in the game. Parrish is as underrated as they come as is their kicking game. 3 huge plays on ST helped them blowout the Seahawks.

Trent Edwards, apparently I am the only one on this board that sees future star on him. He is Stanford grad so you know he is smart and since he became the starter the Bills became a legit playoff team. He isn't going to make Losman like mistakes.

I think coaching will cost them a few games but I still think they are a very serious threat to win alot of games and the division.
