I wouldn't shit on the Raiders...this guy (Raiderjoe or w/e) is annoying....but that team isn't going to be easy to play. I'd argue they're ahead of us talent-wise. They have arguably the most talented young QB in the league. Their O-line has played better. They have a strong running game. They have the best CB combo in the league. I don't even think this is debatable either. Both of those guys (Hall and Aso) are top 5 corners in the NFL right now, and both have a case for being #2 and #3 after Bailey. They have a pass rusher in Burgess. They have two sick young LBers in Morrison and Howard. Tommy Kelly has been ridiculously underrated since he signed that contract. He's a damn good and versatile lineman, but somehow that contract has people saying things like he "better be All Pro." Sands can be an excellent run stuffer if he goes back to his '06 form. Huff at FS = Very good for them. Miller is an excellent young TE. The coaching staff is young and hungry. I like Kiffin, but it seems like you're not allowed to like anyone without them having a track record. He's got that quality I love in Mangini, he looks for help all over the place. But bad teams are always shitted on until they become good, then everyone forgets they were ever bad. I mean look at the Raiders...6 years ago they were in the Super Bowl yet the way people talk you'd think they were a losing franchise from Day 1. Anyone remember the Pats pre-'00? No, because it doesn't matter, no one cares right now.
