Eh I hate Hundley. After MM and Winston, I lose interest in a hurry in this class. As for WR, if I had my choice, I see DGB as a potential superstar who could be had outside the 1st if he declares. That'd be my pick in the 2nd if Sambrailo is gone (like him a lot at OT).
We lost Cooper with our win last week: likely picking 6th, he'll be 3 or 4 at latest.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think Cooper could fall to our pick. Don't forget, we could still pick at #4 or #5 depending on how the rest of the games play out.
I don't see Jax taking him. Oakland would be our only competition for him, but I think they go DL. Especially if Leonard Williams is still there.
Jags would need to win out, Raiders need to win one which isn't happening. They have Buffalo and Denver.
We sure as hell do not need to deal with Winston AND Green-Beckham Jets need to take a real professional for once, someone who is a sure thing, that is Amari Cooper!!!
I think it is hard to come to terms w/the possibility of taking a wide receiver, stud or not, with the realization that not only do we not have a good qb but when we will have to draft and groom one when we finally do, making our team a non-contender for the next 2 years minimum. I think this is why so many are so upset about losing out on mariota/winston.
If we can solidify the offense line by acquiring Mike Iupati, acquire a Bradford / Veteran QB and draft Cooper things will look better on offense. Obviously we need a GM / Coach package to dictate the offense but it's a good start. What's to say Bradford stays healthy and actually plays decent ball for us?
I don't know if you want to break in a rookie head coach and GM with Winston, nevermind along with DGB. If someone takes Winston, it is a veteran coach. Like Jeff Fisher(Even then Vince Young pushed Fisher's buttons often)
There's nothing wrong with taking a WR up high in the draft but it isn't going to fix anything until the Jets find the QB. If Cooper is the best value wherever the Jets pick, then yes they should take him but he's not going to make the Jets offense much better in the absence of an upgrade at QB.
STL reportedly wants Bradford back, but he'll have to restructure. I doubt Cutler is cut, too big a hit.
I'd rather take a shot on RG3 then cutler at least he's still young and can maybe learn We already know what cutler is Don't want either of them really though
A lot of mocks right now have us taking Cooper, so it's 100% guaranteed we won't draft him. Oh well. Onto Scherff or Stanley.
