Newsflash, the Patriots have been the standard of what a NFL franchise should be since 2001. And Tom Brady is either the best or 2nd best quarterback in the NFL. They are going to get credit. And I'm not defending ESPN too much, they have really gone down the drain. But it's because they do stupid stuff like Who's Now and Budweiser Hot Seat. Not because they are anti Jet, or anti anybody.
listen, this is NY and sadly we have two teams and we have to share headlines with the giants. even in newsday, the jets could murder a team and the giants could lose but the giants will be full page cover of the sports section and we'll get a little blurb. its just the way it is. when we dominate, win a superbowl maybe they'll pay attention. revis' signing is huge for us and its for us, and thats all that matters. ESPN and NFL.com didn't give us the proper coverage. But then again, they're not even paying attention to the LJ holdout and that is HUGE. Bigger than JaMarcus' holdout cause LJ is a proven player. so what does that say about ESPN and NFL.com? That they're a bunch of heirarchical jackasses that will report on only the dazzling stuff and not the little guy.
