LOLcraptastic. He's the driver! If you like him, you'll like the movie. A good violent, action thriller. _
Has anyone seen The Fantastic Mr. Fox? I keep reading about how great it is, even from people that don't like Wes Anderson.
I refuse to see further Wes Anderson movies. Unless the give out free blow jobs. And not from Barcs. _
Fantastic Mr. Fox is great. But maybe I'm just biased because my 3 year old son loves it so much. It is exactly what a Wes Anderson kids movie sounds like it would be.
need to see this film...Staying on the Robin Williams theme, I hope everyone has seen Insomnia the movie by Nolan. Fantastic
I rent a lot of foreign thrillers, there are some excellent ones out there, here are a few of my favorites. 1.) Tell No One - France - Alex a pediatrician getting over the murder of his wife is suddenly implicated in the murder years later, then a gets a very mysterious email. Tremendous edge of your seat thriller, smart, exciting, one of the best, from author Harlan Coben. 2.) Tesis - Spain - While researching her thesis paper about violence Angela stumbles across a snuff film where the girl tortured to death is a classmate of hers at college. Put this film in your cue if you love intense, thrillers. Tremendous film, equal parts terrifying and exciting. 3.) The Disappearance of Alice Creed - United Kingdom - A rich man's daughter held captive for ransom by two ex-convicts. This is a stunning three-person film filled with twists and double crosses, it never loses steam for a minute and will have you enthralled for the duration. Gemma Atherton is very hot too, don't know why she hasn't made it big in the US. 4.) Point Blank - France - Samuel works in a hospital where his pregnant wife is kidnapped, a cell phone call informs him he has three hours to free a suspect recovering in the hospital in order to see his wife again. Watch this film and see why the French have become the masters of thriller and suspense. This is a non-stomp thrill ride through the streets of Paris. Clever stunts, creative action sequence and riveting suspense. 5.) A Prophet - France - A young Arab man is sent to a French prison where he becomes a mafia kingpin. Dark, thrilling, violent, tremendous - see it.
I saw all three of those French movies. I've been a huge fan of what they've been doing sense Brotherhood of the Wolf. Edit: also, Fantastic Planet
Wowza. First half is a bit slow, sad, then unrequited love story, then a bit creepy then holy fuck. Deeper deeper. _
