We probably would have had more wins easily if we had a veteran qb during the 09' season but still wouldn't have made the superbowl so it was better that Mark got to start the entire season anyway. And its pretty obvious that it took a complete shitting of the pants by the entire team in the first half of the Pitt game to knock us out of the Superbowl. Sanchez was probably our only hope for coming back in that game. Let the haters say what they want, just proves they're completly ignorant as to how important Sanchez really is to this team.
This experience is going to be extremely valuable for Sanchez going forward. Remember that he only started for one season in college and has gotten to the AFC championship game in each of his first two pro seasons. He's practically gotten all of his football experience in the toughest environments imaginable. From USC to on the road against the Chargers, Colts, Patriots and Steelers. He's only in his third year and he's already been through more than some QBs go through in their entire careers.
In defense of soxxxxxxxxxxx people do bash him a lot, but it's to be expected when they are jealous of a NY team, a team that gets talked about, and a young QB with proven playoff performances. It took me a long time to admit Brady was good.
