What the hell is this? Get a clue...You're just pulling crap out of ass. Nick Folk is in Nugent territory. He has struggled recently to make kicks in traffic and without traffic. Are you a paid NFL player, am I, or is NICK FUCKING FOLK? Stop saying stupid shit about if I can make field goals.
you seem to think that Folk is a piece of garbage...based on last season. he admitted that he wasn't right after the hip surgery he had in may 2009. are you still having a fucking hard time understanding?....or should i draw you some stick figures to make it easier for you EDIT: Nugent territory??!! holy fuck.....Folk's been to the Pro Bowl......I wouldn't wipe my ass with your football knowledge after reading that post.
That was last offseason and is it the team's fault that he did not rehab properly or his? Again you keeping talking shit.
How about you step away from the computer and sit in a fucking toilet and read some actual facts from a NFL stats book. Apparently you don't know what to say and how to explain things properly.
Folk.....played.......injured......last.........year.........which.......is.......why......he........PLAYED......POORLY. slow enough for you, Copernicus?
anyone remember when someone made a thread and tried drawing out Jet formations.. but it just ended up being circles drawn in paint.. made me laugh.. thought I'd share since this thread went to tossing shit back and forth about Nick Folk.
yeah...i remember that......Poeman may need that type of educational resource to help him thru this difficult time.
Let me try: Jay Feely's stats during his first three years in the league: 80/104 (76%) Nick Folk's stats during his first three years in the league: 64/81 (79%) ...and both of them played their home games indoors.
Mike Nugent was also considered a potential pro-bowler back in the 06-07 season...However, Folk being a pro bowler one time does not make him a great player now. Considering he was injured last season and couldn't rehab properly, what makes you confident that he will still be able to do things he did back in 2007?
This doesn't happen all the time in the NFL. You are hoping on Nick Folk to have the same transformation Feely did at this point in his career. I'm just calling it as I see it from last season, EVEN if the guy did not rehab the way he was supposed to...I'm optimistic with almost every other area on this team and I am no darksider when comes to the Jets. But Nick Folk does not get my hopes up come crunch time.
How do you know he didn't rehab properly? The Cowboys training staff could be at fault...maybe even moreso. We also know what a thundercunt Jerry Jones is.....he could've pressured Folk into coming back before he was fully healed. What makes me confident?...I'm not...because he's a kicker...but for starters....he's a lot healthier now.....plus he showed well in OTAs and in the early going in TC. But we won't have any hard evidence till he plays in the regular season. Is he a better option than Feely? IMO, yeah...he's potentially better.....
that's possible too. But a healthy Folk has played at a higher level than Feely in the past......so why wouldn't i believe Folk would be the better option? I don't give a fiddler's shit if Feely will make a ST tackle......that means nothing to me in regards to kicking efficiency.
I'm actually just hoping that Nick Folk is healthy again, because it didn't take him very long to prove he can be a top tier kicker in this league. I only compared their first three seasons because Folk's only played three seasons. Jay Feely is a mediocre-at-best NFL kicker that's bounced around from team-to-team throughout his mediocre career. I don't care how good he was in the regular season for us - he missed momentum swaying kicks in the playoffs and you can't do that in the NFL.
