He didn't kick any FG's Sunday....you talking against Indy ? That short kick was ALSO just inside the right post....he is NOT splitting these short FG's down the middle which is what is scaring me.

Yes, I meant the Colts game, my mistake. He made the kick against the Colts that won us the fucking game. I'm not ready to freak out and crucify the guy over one missed field goal in the playoffs, regardless of how close he was when he kicked it.

He did kick a fg, after the interception on the first drive and he hooked it. Missed left.

IDGAF. He's way too inconsistent with make-able kicks. Did you hear the Westhoff presser last week? He absolutely hates the guys kicking motion but feels like the kicking coach did a good job "controlling" his motion. Didn't sound very promising to me.

You're joking right? Do you honestly believe that would have been called good if it were challenged? You're both high if you really believe that because there's no way in hell it was being over turned.

Great he made the 30 yarder that time. You're supposed to make that kick. Problem is, with Fuck as our kicker we have to hold our breath on the easy ones.

He's serviceable, I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone next year though.

You need consistency from your kicker, and he's far from it. We could be in a much worse position in terms of the kicker we have, but he definitely replaceable

Did you see Adam Vineteri's kick ????

Inside a dome, I expect any kick within 40-yards to split the uprights.....not be a few feet inside the post and curving OUTSIDE before it comes back in.

Look at the Indy make...and the NE miss....both weren't hit great.

True but he doesn't want to leave Indy and the jets have much more to worry about first than signing a kicker this off season

The snow is really coming down now and the yard lines are now not even visable. This kick from just outside the 30 yard line.......
......... and with .03 secs left on the clock, Folk stands ready for the snap. Its 17-17 in regulation.
Purdem snaps to Weathford, the hold is good as Folk kicks........the kick issssss............

I pray to God that this is not the scenario. Seriously I don't think my heart could take it.

    Oh, found this......

I'm hoping that tomorrow's game doesn't come down to a FG.

I'd rather not have EMS on standby for another potential heart attack finish.

Make it 17-16 and I'd be a lot more worried.

5/5 in Heinz field. As far as I'm concerned, Folk is OK to come back next year. Place Kicker is the least of our problems going into the offseason.

He left NE to finish his career kicking in either warm weather or a dome. If he plays at all moving forward, it will be in one or the other. He has chronic back and leg issues that he wants to keep out of the cold as much as possible.

Isn't he from South Dakota? i wouldn't have figured the the weather bothering him too much. Also, fuck him. The Jets have better places to spend their money right now. Kicker should be on the bottom of the list.

No problem with Folk coming back next year. He started off the year great, had a shaky mid-season, then ended just like he started. I'll take him back next year, bring in some undrafted kickers in camp to see if there are any diamonds in the rough to be found and give Folk some competition.
