Nice post but, "fans that won`t fade"? Most have faded away to their basement bars, backs of cars, not to conform, but to be cast out of their financial burden of supporting a losing circus that has no home. The Jets fans are like the Rush song Subdivisions. Totally, and financially "Subdivided".
I'm awfully glad that there is at least a percentage that feels like I do. For awhile I felt as though we were all jaded. I'm SSSOOOO looking forward to this season!!!
Good post! My son-in-law came to America when he was 7. His father herded the family into a bar at the airport to watch the last few mins of the Bill-Giants SB. And he's been a Bills fan ever since. See? It could be a LOT worse!
Ill probably cry when the jets win a Super Bowl. Maybe I'm stupid, but I'm always optimistic and excited about the team every year. I always expect us to do well and look at the positives instead of the negatives. I look forward to Sunday jets football more than anything else and I love it
While the Jets have had plenty of roadbumps over the last few decades, we are still more fortunate than a bunch of others. There are teams that have never won the superbowl. It's not as bad as many folks let on and when the Jets finally do win another SB title, it will be that much more satisfying.
I'm with ya!! I was just in Canton at the HOF with my Joe Willie jersey, and there were actually a few Jets fans out there, other than me and my friend.
