BS. It has nothing to do with maturity. IMO when your team has as little talent as the Jets do, it's incredibly stupid to try to win meaningless games at the end of the season that only serve to harm your draft position. I thought you were more intelligent than that, but I guess I was wrong.
The only thing incredibly stupid is thinking there is a major difference between picking 8 or 9 vs 11 or 12. Or did you think they should’ve just quit at 1-7 and went 1-15?
Well considering our draft record, I am not so sure a better pick means we will pick the right guy. At least we can’t fall for some “best player in the draft” defensive tackle again since we’re not picking that early. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
People like you always make me laugh. Do you honestly think a bunch of professional athletes, some of whom are playing for their next and maybe only contract are going to mail it in because a guy on the Internet wants the ninth pick instead of the 12th? do you think the coaching staff that has already been under scrutiny and has to develop some semblance of an offense within the next year is going to pack it in because Joe Schmoe who has probably looked at one mock draft thinks there’s a huge talent drop off after the ninth pick? judging by your posts, these are things you actually think. This is why I call it immature because no adult would ever have this thought process.
If your points are that strong, there's no need for ridiculing someone else's opinion. I happen to agree with your contention that winning these last two games were worth more than the 1-3 draft spots in the middle range of the first round, but using insults doesn't help your case.
sorry, when I’m responding to a guy who called me an idiot and another guy clueless, they don’t exactly deserve any kind of respect in return.
I really didn’t think we would have to do this but look at pretty much any 2020 mock draft. Guys are available in the 10 to 12 range that would help us out plenty. Plenty of offensive linemen and CeeDee Lamb might be there as well
Just saying that withholding the disrespectful comments doesn't mean that you respect someone's opinion.
Yeah, because we’ll never find anyone else whose defense gives up third and 11s to the bills third stringers
I hope that this is sarcasm and you actually realize the ridiculous job Williams did this year. If he doesn’t win assistant coach of the year then he better damn well finish in second.
I think they are going big game hunting. They need a total rebuilding of culture (which ironically is what we needed too and somehow it got worse) and a guy like Ron Rivera gives them that. We are royally fucked if Williams leaves in general. I would kill to see what this guy could do with a healthy Mosley and Williamson plus an actual edge rusher if we actually get one.
I guess I was wrong about you. I knew you could be an ass at times, but thought you were usually decent and rational, but no longer. You're clearly just an asshole. I never said anything about the stupid BS that you wrote in your first paragraph above. You're the only one who had the thought process above, so you're the immature one. For your sake, I hope you grow up, but I no longer care. Have a nice life.
I didn't say that. YOU did. That's your stupid thought process. You people that only see things in extreme are sad and pathetic.
You are mad the Jets won a game that altered their draft position one spot. I’m not the stupid one here. So if you didn’t wish for the Jets to be 1-15 then where do you draw the line? When do you start rooting for Jets losses? The only thing dumber than this stance is your constant quitting of the team when you don’t like a decision made. You don’t have to answer my question cause frankly I don’t care. Just know your stance is beyond stupid.
