Fire Gase and bury those uniforms with this miserable era lol. Keep the color green though, that was the only improvement.
Gase did a great job considering our injuries this season. Why would you fire him now? We need to stop this endless cycle of change and give our players some stability. Give Gase at least 2 more seasons to prove his worth.
We have a franchise QB. We can dump Trumaine and maybe trade Bell. Injuries allowed some younger players to play and develop. Gregg Williams is a great DC and give him some additional players I believe we can have a dominant defense. Winning streak is a plus. Maybe we can attract some decent free agents. I can list some of the negatives, but why? Let's see what we can draft to bolster the offensive line, add wr's and corner.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just spewed a mouthful of iced tea onto my screen! That's hilarious! Good joke Adam!
Admittedly not a fan of Gase but give him some weapons and an offensive line and we go to war with him. Tired of the coaching carousel, next coach gonna get the same type of hatred the second they lose a game anyway. Exercise in futility.
The join date is 2003, what did Adam do, join every fan forum on the Internet in case he ever became a head coach? On second thought, I could actually see him doing that...
I agree. This is the worst Jets team I have seen since the Lou Holtz season. These last two wins were two of the ugliest and worst wins I have ever seen. Given our schedule we played more like a 1 to 2 win team this year. I love Sam but as long as the amazingly insecure Adam Gase is here my enthusiasm will be low.
Great win today, Jets. LOL You totally fucked draft position getting a meaningless win. You should have activated every PS player and started them. The Bills are laughing their asses off.
True that..but if teams ahead of us win or lose this last week and teams worse off than us pick up wins we might stay about at selection #10 Our draft position bothered me more prior to getting our FQB and Todd Bowles was celebrating a late season win over KC
In trying to be somewhat positive (which is extremely hard), it DOES seem like Gase and Douglas are on the same page (or at least thats what were told) and that is something that hasnt happened in a long time for us. After this offseason, I dont want to hear or read that a certain player doesnt fit Gases system. He now has a GM that will listen to what he needs and give it to him. Additionally, its almost impossible to have the same # of season ending injuries next year. Especially on defense where I really think Williams could get us into the top 5 defenses if things go the right way. Other than that, I have little faith Gase will put this team into a good position to win. I am thinking the only way we are successful is that we improve a lot talentwise where Gase being the coach doesnt matter.
This is largely true for every team and HC in the league outside the very few true elite HCs. How many HCs would have significantly changed the outcome of this season given the talent & circumstances?
man I was JUST about to start an entire thread congratulating the TGG community for not complaining about wins for the first season in forever. But right at the buzzer...
Agreed but Gase clearly has people issues beyond average coaches which effects how he uses players. Add the lack of adjustments in there and he’s definitely more of a negative than most coaches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why would you congratulate people for not complaining about meaningless wins that screw our draft position?
