I think it's a good idea. Cromartie showed in the playoff game that he loves to see the Jets score...plus he'd clean up as a 2nd CB...just wonder if his ego could take it. Still, I can't see Tanny giving up a 1st or 2nd with the defensive depth of this draft and why would SD trade him to a conference competitor for a 5,6,7, although we could dip into next year's draft I guess. Wait...we have TWO kickers. Give the Chargers a kicker! I'm not sure, but they might need one.
