That article states that he turned down the interview, not the job. And that's 1 person, not plenty. Do they learn how to read where you're from?
Still means he didn't want to be bothered with the Jets. You can believe what you want clown. Is he currently the Jets head coach bottom line? That would be a no so whether its was him or the Jets that canceled it out or even a mutual agreement he isn't the head coach right now.

Your first link says that the guy "turned down" the Jets job not because of anything the Jets did or did not do, but because he wanted to stay with the Giants. That means it was probably a waste of everyone's time to even get involved in the process with him; it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the Jets organization and I don't remember him being a key target of anyone.. The second is the typical third hand information about a rumor, not a set of facts. It was also published on the same day Gase was hired so we really have no way of knowing who was the first choice of the Jets' "brain trust," for what that's worth. That "brain trust" no longer is in place. It also would not be abnormal for a guy not offered a job to deny he wanted it, for whatever reason. There's certainly not enough substance in either of these stories to conclude that there is any substantial reason for coaches to not want to work here.
