Hue Jackson should be hired as the OC if and only if he brings Darren Mcfadden and Denarius Moore along with him.

Flacco didnt have the #1 rushing attack, #1 defense, or a legit #1 reciever

Flacco had a BETTER RB and BETTER D and yet he played much worse than Sanchez. Sanchez on Baltimore the last few years has a SB.

Ray rice had 454 rushing yards as a rookie ?

And the ravens only had the #4 rushing attack, #2 defense (wasnt even remotely close to our defense when Sanchez was a rookie, NOT EVEN CLOSE), and their #1 WR was lol Derrick Mason.

They didnt have a better rb better def or better wrs when HJ was with Baltimore, you are mistaken.

It seems too convenient. Something is still tellin me the Jets dont have the balls to get rid of Schotty.

He's developed players at each position he's coached. I'd be all for him coming, as he isn't boring like Schotty.

don't just look at rankings, their D was better than ours. Our D blew the championship game.

In 3 postseason games Baltimore's D allowed 35 points plus scored a TD
in our 3 postseason games in '09 our D allowed 58 pts
In our 3 postseason games in '10 our D allowed 54 pts and scored 2 pts

Flacco in that run to the title game threw 1 TD and 3 INTs
    Sanchez '09- 4 TDs, 2 INTs
    Sanchez '10- 5 TDs, 1 INT

So Schotty gets no credit for the #1 rushing attack?

Did you see where this team was going with Cambell as their QB? He was doing a great job with Jason, this is a move that would put the Jets over the top, as long as they can fill the holes on the online.

Rex wanted Hue for OC originally. Sign this beast. He has the balls to get in Holmes face and shut him up. And judging from the game he called against us, the guy really takes it to the other team, ground and pound and oppourtunistic playcalling.

We played against the Chargers and Colts, two of the best offenses in the nfl in the playoffs + the bengals

They beat up the Titans and Dolphins and Steelers

You cant use a 3 game sample size of whose defense is better. You gotta go based off the entire season, and our defense in 09 was fucking AMAZING, had we won the SB we would of gone down as one of the legendary defenses of all time. The Ravens defense was very good in 08 , but not great (like it was the last time they won the SB vs the Cmen)

He sure as shit DOES, unfortunately its been 3 years since then and this offense has massively regressed and the development of our young QB/Passing game has been atrociousness, and our ground game neglected.

Would love a conversation here about Jackson being an upgrade, as I am not sure he is. Believe me, I am all for getting rid of Schotty (and have been for the better part of 4 years, and trust me, he will NOT be back as OC. He will either get a job or be let go) but I don't want to make a change for change sake.
Looked at Jackson's numbers as an OC (03 Skins, 07 Falcons)... and they don't jump out to me as exceptional, excepting his 2010 as Raiders OC. So do we have a legit (offensive philosophy, resume) that tells us he's an upgrade?

It doesn't matter the team when you have a supposed great D like we had. We got torced by Indy who then were held in check the next game vs. NO and the week before vs. BALTIMORE.

Our D was not amazing, amazing D's don't blow late leads like the Miami, Atlanta and Jacksonville games then get a double digit lead in the title game and blow that. Our D was NOT a great D, it hasn't been any of the last 3 years.

We got torched by the #1 QB of all time in his home dome when our #1 #2 #3 hbs were all hurt forcing us to consistently go 3 and out meanwhile having injuries to our secondary forcing backups to attempt to cover their receivers !? Well its settled then our defense sucked

I would agree with this. As good as our defense was those two years, it was never clutch which was a huge reason we werent able to gain homefield advantage or advance past the AFCC game.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in Hue, but my question to you nyjunc is knowing that you back Schotty, who would you rather have?
