I am skeptical as to the Pats. Think they are getting overrated for beating an overrated Colts team and an overrated Andrew Luck. I think people are also forgetting how terrible the AFC was this year and there was really only one team that looked like they were legitimate Super Bowl contenders throughout (Denver), as there were times when the Patriots looked terrible against a lot of bad teams (2x NYJ, Cin, Miami, Houston, Cleveland). Granted Denver did not look the best this past week against San Diego. I think the coaching has been great, and they looked very good running the ball and playing defense against Indy. If they win this week I won't be surprised at all. But, bottom line is that they are flawed and that is being overlooked by the mainstream media.
I'd be happy -- IF Brady followed up the victory by unexpectedly announcing his retirement Otherwise, wouldn't care.
How are they being overrated? Vegas has them as the longest odds to win the SB of the 4 teams left. The fact that they are so flawed yet playing in the AFC Championship game is all that anyone is talking about! All the teams left are flawed. The Broncos are flawed. I bet 80% of the "experts" will pick the Broncos to win this week.
To answer OP, I am seriously considering stabbing a Pats fan. ^^^ The AFC team is practicing at the Giant's facility and using the Giants locker room, and NFC team is at Jets facility and in Jets locker room. It was done that way to prevent a rival from entering in the "enemy's locker & personal setting".
I hate the Pats so they could win the SB in a Chucky Cheese's and I'd still be pissed. But the stadium is less relevant. Having said that, I was at Shea Stadium the night the Yankees won the World Series in that Subway Series in 2000. As a Met fan and Yankee hater, that was as bad as it gets. Watching the Yankees celebrating on MY home field made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. _
If the Broncos roll over for the Patriots I WILL BE PISSED! Every team's been doing it this year. If the Patriots win it all this year, it will BURN! But I have confidence that the winds will be strong in Meadowlands that day and Brady will take a pounding, especially if its the Seahawks. I already put my money on Broncos beating the Hawks in the SB, but I put a smaller bet on 49ers beating Pats as the Pats luck their way to the superbowl.
Not according to NJ.com...... http://www.nj.com/inside-jersey/index.ssf/2014/01/super_bowl_2014_new_jersey_game.html
i dont think NE can keep up with the broncos on offense the only way NE wins is if the elements are horrific and the weather looks good right now for sunday
Sick to my stomach. ... go Denver, SF, Seattle. ... anyone but NE Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
No way.....dislike Miami but Joe Philbin, who lost his son before taking the Miami job, is a class act. Steve Ross is actually a New Yorker. Belichick screwed us and quit on us. Kraft (or more likely Kraft's sons) talked to him while he was still our AC/HC. In their mind, it was payback for the Jets stealing Parcells but they forget that we didn't reach out to Parcells, he reached out to us and wanted out at all costs (remember Will McDonough).
My point was proven. The fact that many people thought the pats would win. I didn't even think they had a chance. Didn't beat anyone good and lost to a bunch of really bad teams. Didn't have talent on much talent on defense or at skill positions. Miracle Brady even had them in the game, but realistically should have been 7/8 point dogs.
