I believe the Orange bowl pre-dates the Dolphins by about 30 years. It was never their stadium. It was a publics work project built during the depression. The Dolphins were tenants.
No different than I would feel if they won it in Pasedena. Annoyed as ****. Truth be told though, three SB's or four, it really doesn't matter...the ****ers are in the pantheon of great NFL organizations now regardless. The only thing they could do that is worse than them already winning three would have been completing the perfect season in 2009. And if the Patriots ever were in the SB here you could take it to the bank it'll be a torrential snowstorm.
2 Games away from misery happening in front of my eyes ! Please God don't let this cheating scum team(NE) win their 4th SB in NY/NJ . I know for a fact that they are not gonna lose if they make it ! Oh how BB would be pissing all over our locker room !
I think we can get out in 5-10 years. Maybe we should. We have not even made a SB since leaving Shea Stadium/NY .
Another brilliant idea by rich boy DNA winner woody Johnson . He couldn't at least wait till brady retired before begging the commissioner for a SB in NY !
Id go outside and gently place my face in the dirt like Sanchez did after he noticed the butt fumble was going for 6 the other way. Life changing.
Promote? That is not why they vote on it. To promote there stadium ? They do it for the ticket sales, merchandise, etc, etc ..
Just read that if the Pats win the AFC then Chris Christy will be closing 3 lanes of the George Washing bridge to keep the Pats fans on the other side of the river.
I'm just happy that the Giants can't pull another win out of their asses this year. But I will be rooting hard for Peyton
Broncos just lost their best cornerback,,,and to top it off the patriot have also been able to run the ball like crazy,,,,,,,,,,I am rooting for the broncos big time but I have a feeling the patriot are going to be in the big game,,,ugh I hope not
Doesn't matter what stadium they win it in, it would still suck. For the Pats, the stadium matters not because of us, but to get back at the Giants for the other two SB defeats. I guess it matters. On second thought, I doubt they give a shit either. They just want to win another SB.
not sure - i do believe those folks up there are salivating at the opportunity to play in NJ and raise a trophy.....on a division rival home field. and the jets should be fuming about that possibility. i sure am.
I've also read that the AFC team will be practicing at the Jets facility in Florham Park leading up to the game.....so Woody and Rex may have to roll the red carpet out for BB and Brady......
