ill remember him as a guy who gave us some great drama, comebacks, and a huge win over the patriots in the playoffs, and some of the worst decisions, boneheaded plays, and awful qb play ive ever seen.
It won't be any one thing to remember about Sanchez. But one thing I will certainly remember is how his post game pressers became Cringe Fests. "We've got to get better." It was getting to the point I couldn't stand listening to him up there spouting that nonsense. He just never seemed to get better at reading pass defenses. And then he slowly lost his confidence.
Can you believe it? Out of all the top 10 QB's taken in recent years...The Jets end up with the worst guy RG3 Luck Bradford (may the only worse one) Matty Ice Stafford Tannehill etc
lol u r putting 3 rookies in there...we still do not know how rg3, luck, or tannehill will turn out...cam newton last year was the up n coming guy, this year he's done jack matty ice melts in playoffs stafford another winless qb in playoffs
As a bum who got too much credit from a fan base desperate for their own Tom Brady that they annointed a guy who rode the coat tails of a Top 3 defense and Top 3 rushing attack to two consecutive AFC Championship Game APPEARANCES, ultimately playing like hot garbage for four quarters and well for another four. An over-rated bum. That's how I'll remember the Punt Producer.
My memory of Sanchez will be the Butt Fumble that made me throw up my turkey and ruined my Thanksgiving
Mark Sanchez drops back and... interception. Mark Sanchez drops back and.. fumble... Mark Sanchez drops back and... runs into Brandon Moore's ass and fumbles. Mark Sanchez lines up at wide receiver and... gets frightened like a little cat. Mark Sanchez drops back and... interception interception... interception...... fumble.. fumble.. interception. COMPLETION!!! interception. That is Mark in a nutshell
I never missed that dink and dump offense when he was around. He was nothing more than a game manger as well and we never went deep down the field due to his arm strength. The next QB we go after needs strength accuracy and be intelligent and also comes from a progressive reading offense who works hard and leads by example.
anybody remember the color code system from the first season? i am sure that came in handy for Luck and RG3.
It took Peyton a while too...You can just tell these guys make their teams better. How is Mark making our team better? Red Zone deficiency with his passing? He's not the same guy he once was when he first got here. Shein made a good comment yesterday on SNY....This was Sanchez's chance to elevate his play on the 4th year without the surrounding talent. That's what good QB's do right? After all those playoff wins...He should have figured out a way to beat teams we are supposed to beat
I will never forget New England playoff game. I think if we had gotten the ball back in Pittsburgh, he would have led us to glory. I will remember his first game against Houston and the second game against Tenn when he lowered his head. I will always remember 2010 bc it was a fun, exciting season with so many 4th quarter comeback wins. Then, I will remember buttfumble, I will remember the hot dog, the bugger on brunnel, the inability to lead shitbirds like holmes, the fumbles, the interceptions, the bone headed throws into triple coverage, the post game pressers "we just need to get better." the fade from glory.
