Well here's to outside the box thinking. Houston gets cap relief and a fourth round pick. Cleveland gets Osweiller(16 million left guaranteed) a sixth this year but importantly a second in 2018. Cleveland just demonstrated how you can use cap space to get picks. Hopefully the picks shorten a rebuild and who knows maybe Osweiller develops or is traded. Heck if Denver loses out on Romo, Clev pays 10 of 16 up front, Denver or another team may give up picks for Osweiller at 6 mill cost.
I agree. Jets, looking back, have had some success with very good acquisitions. Curtis Martin, Kris Jenkins, V. Testaverde, Kevin Mawae, L. Tomlinson....IDK, seems tho they were very fleeting moments for most of these signings.
