    Also, is Steve McLendon worth keeping, aside from Week 1, I feel as if his impact on the NT position was minimal at best. Deion Simon progressed mightily, would rather cut McLendon and save 2+ million in cap.

    last year the cowboys were 4-12 with the same o-line as this year. they didn't add any new starters to it at all. The difference was poor QB play (romo was injured most of the year) and lack of a good run game (they got rid of murray and were left with a bunch of crap backs, one of which was arrested IIRC and cut) they thought behind the o-line any RB would be fine and didn't want to pay murray and it blew up in their face. adding zeke and dak is why they turned it around.

    Can we ease up on the Cowboys lovefest? A year ago, it was all about the Broncos and pass rushers; their OL was mediocre. Now because the Dakboys are the hot team, everyone's talking about the OL. There are many ways to build a winning team.

    very true. games have usually been won in the trenches though. but now OCs have adjusted to quick passes to negate the rush.
