I like this offseason except for 2 items:

    1. I'm not trading Revis unless I have to in order to avoid breaking the bank.

    2. If I'm trying to keep some semblance of continuity for at least the first our GM's tenure, I keep Sparano. Sanchez has enough to work on this off season with regards to his game; let learning a new offense be one less thing for him to worry about. The new GM evaluate the Rex, his entire coaching staff and his QB. That way if he needs to he can clean house at the end of the year.

My quick offseason at a high level.

    1. Cut/trade Tebow.
    2. Demote, if he wants to stay, or fire Tanny.
    3. Hire a good talent evaluating GM.
    4. Cut or do not resign Scott, Pace, Moore, Keller, Greene, Holmes*
    5. Focus draft and free agency on offensive skill players w/ speed

*Depending on how bad the cap hit is we may have to keep him one more year.

Well after that debacle I am more convinced on rebuilding the line. The QB problem isn't going away but to often young quarterbacks are put on teams with bad olines. Frankly, many NFL teams have glaring line problems. You can have a young qb behind a good line with a sound running game and have success. (see young sanchez) We need to build the line first. My prevalence for Alabama players was a combination of my familiarity with them, their coming from a winning system and knowing what has been demanded of them, and their talent. You could plug any higher rated lineman in those picks without my having a problem. You just need to address the problem early and often.

Revis: I don't want to trade but is a luxury we can't afford. He can not be franchised after 2013 so he can walk for nothing. He is probably our only piece that other teams would want and give up something significant. I don't know if he leaves if we would be entitled to compensation, that would possibly change what I would accept but I try to put him with a team that could sign him. My trade gets a 2013 second, 14 first and third, and 15 second. Unfortunately, he is coming off injury which is why some picks would be conditional and why you can't get as much up front. I would be open to letting the trading team have a window to sign or let his agents find a deal to get a better return as well as being decent with him.

I would try to get something for Tebow. You can't get much from Jax. It would probably be a late pick(6-7) and maybe a conditional in 2014 (5-7)depending on his playing time.

Ending up with ninth pick makes move down and gaining a second work easier from a points standpoint. Would love to move down and get Warmack but thought our pick would make that impossible when first did this mock.

What did Asomugha get when he went to Philly? Was he traded there?
