That QB coach from Dallas got a 5-game suspension for using HGH, something that couldn't have helped competitively unless he gave it to the players. To me, that's the starting point when we're discussing punishment. BB should be suspended AT LEAST 5 games, as this is far more serious and if I remember correctly, Goodell said something to the effect that coaches will be held to a higher standard.

My take on just punishment: suspend BB for the rest of this season, dock 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks. We're not going to get a forfeit, so that's about what they should do.

What is ridiculous is a person who says he is a fan of a team and apparently has zero problem with his team being cheated. If your reading comprehension was above a 3rd grade level you would have figured out that most of us on here readily admit the outcome may not have changed much in terms of win/loss. That is the thing that makes their cheating even more ridiculous and worthy of punishment - the fact that they did not need to cheat to win. It doesn't make it right though, but for some people there is no accounting for their apparent loss of ethics in this.

Says YOU. Ever consider that maybe, just maybe, you could be WRONG? :eek:hmy:

If the D Line knew exactly how many blitzers, as well as which side those blitzers were approaching from, don't you think it just might be possible that they were able to block the guys they knew were coming?

Think logically for one singular second.

I posted this already, but I'll repeat it. The Pats offensive plays went further downfield in inverse proportion to the number of blitzers the Jets sent after Brady.

Randy Moss' big TD where he was never touched and burned 3 guys was on a seven man blitz. I'd have to go back and see the film, but I'd be willing to bet there were some combination of 3 or 4 RBs and TEs blocking for Brady on that play.

    Are you getting this yet?

We scored on the Pats. The problem is, they kept scoring more. If they knew the D scheme on every play, it's not hard for Pretty Boy Tom to change the call at the LOS, based on getting around that particular D playcall.

    Are you getting this yet?

Cheating matters, or no one would bother. The Pats not only had a camera recording defensive playcalls, but we're now hearing reports they were monitoring radio frequencies they shouldn't have had access to.

I know you are no fan of Chad, but what if our starting QB was seriously injured thanks to a blitz set up totally by a cheat? What if that QB were Clemens, and it ended his career before it started?

    Are you getting this yet?

He's one of your own... another Pats fan. If you had watched the news from Boston last night you would have seen a number of proud Bostonians rationalizing away their teams deceit. You fit right in with them.

Wow, I'm going to paraphrase a comment made (I believe) just yesterday in reference to you.

You are the site's authority on pathetic posts.

And maybe if you spent 5 minutes actually thinking instead typing whatever sounds your anus makes, you'd "get it" yourself.

But then again, you still have an avatar of a kicker who can't kick both high and long on the same play.

Enough with arguing with you though. You'd only lead to my being banned.

I couldn't participate in the above poll because my solutions aren't listed.

I'd like to see two things happen, and I believe these two things are probably the most realistic and practical options the NFL has. I think the Patriots should:

    1) Be "fined" by relieving them of several draft picks in the 2008 draft. If film or other evidence determines without a doubt that a team was harmed or its playing ability comprimised by the Patriots as a result of these spy tactics, then that team should be awarded one or two of the draft picks taken away from the Patriots for compensation. No different than compensating a team for other tampering (like contacting and negotiating with other HCs before the season ends, etc.). Historically, draft picks have been awarded in this manner and in this instance, it seems fitting.

    2) A public apology is in order. It has to be heartfelt, completely honest, include full disclosure and address all past transgressions, the wording of which must be approved by the NFL commissioner before the press conference. It should also include a guarantee by Kraft and Belichick that this or any other related activity wiill ceases immediately and will never happen again.

They allow you in the Stadium?

Were you one of the fans cheering when Chad got hurt or were you one of the fans with the Jet Plane on their head in the parking lot?

It must kill you that we have one legitimate SB win. Go back to Pats Nation and keep telling yourself this is no big deal.

Even better, it's the second time this morning he's used it.
    -----------------------

And no Martin, I don't go to games, since they obviously feel people like you who root against our starting QB, and forgive cheaters to the detrement of our team deserve the seat.

I can't argue with you. You actually inspire enough anger in me to write things that would get me banned, and I like being able to post here.

Let's just suffice to say that you aren't any better a Jets fan than those who cheered Chad's injury.
