Again a suspention really doesn`t do much either ,he`d just sit in front of his tv at home and call in his plays to a guy in the both ,he`d probably like the challange

I couldn't have said it better myself. THe contempt that the Patriots have against the Jets and Mangini borders on Paranoia. Goodell is supposed to be upset. Let's see how upset he is when the punishment is issued.

Belichick should be suspended and the Pats should lose draft picks.

Seriously ? here is a good one; the Pats should lose their home game against us in December, as in that should be changed to a home game for the Jets. Let them deal with the crowd noise as known cheaters.

Only problem with that is the vaGiants are playing at Jets stadium that weekend.

All that does is run up your cap room.

Forfeit. Coaching Staff suspension. 4 games minimum.

THe only just punishment is as follows.

Forfeit. They Cheated, plain and simple, and got
    caught.

The difference in that game was the Jets defense
being held at bay by the Patriots, which was the,
the object of their cheat. No getting around it.

    Coaching staff 4 game suspension.

The Organization should also forfeit the Home field
    for the next game.

The Patriots would have to refund one Home game worth of
$$$$, and the Jets would be able to sell another home game.

That also gives the Patriots a chance to get back the forfeit
(sort of...) by winning honestly on the road, in which case
the forfeit evens out in the W/L column.

    Nicely Put.

I'd love to get draft picks, but I feel that we will not get any compensation for what happened (Unless you consider anything bad for the Pats a win for us)

If the Pats lose draft picks, they don't go to the Jets.....they disappear.

Those of you hoping for a forfeit..... ....good luck with that one....

Oh gimmie a break with that BS. Biggest Jet fan around but stop sounding so freakin desperate. The Jets got embarrassed Sunday. That wasn't the difference in the game. Those saying, "forfeit the game," are absolutely ridiculous. Have a little pride. Worry about fixing the DL instead of this nonsense. The Patriots should be fined. Other then that, move on. From what they were saying on the radio this morning, they aren't the only team that does that. Stop showing PATRIOT ENVY by asking for unreasonable penalties for this. It's embarrassing.

And I like the people on this site who actually think "losing draft picks," means they lose them to the Jets. Get a freakin clue. That's not what happens. They'd just forfeit the picks, the Jets don't get them. Geez.

ONCE AGAIN,,, POSSIBLY ALL THE TEAMS DO THIS.

Draft picks and high ones are the only way to go.

After the Pandora's box is opened from what other teams come up with, the court of public opinion should be punishment enough after that.

You're in fantasyland and clueless if you feel the Pats are the only team that does this. The ones who are in FANTASYLAND are the people saying, "forfeit the game,", "suspend Belichick for the season," and the one I like the most, "forfeit draft picks TO THE JETS." That's the fantasyland, not only do the Pats forfeit a pick (which I guess is possible) BUT THAT IT GOES TO THE JETS. If you're gonna say someone is in FANTASYLAND,,,,, that's being in FANTASYLAND. At least get your facts straight.

Schlereth, and at least One other player ( IDRC), said that the frfeit is the just punishment, and we all know schlereth is no fan of the Jets.

Tell me...How can you assess the DLine after knowing the Pats had stolen the Defensive signals Sunday ?

    That goes beyond reason.

an inside source tells me that the Pat's may get away scott free with taping the Jet coaches. Turns out the "camera man" couldn't take his lens off the super hot Flag Girls and never got around to taping the coaches.

What? That game wasn't out of the ordinary. That's how the DL looks. When does Ellis or Robertson ever touch the QB? When do the Jets ever stop the run? That wasn't something we haven't seen in the pre-season or before that for that matter. Brady had an hour and a half to throw every down. He could have told the Jets at the line,,, "we're throwing this play," and they still weren't gonna touch him.

The fact that the camera man was not exactly concealed attests to this. If the Pats were trying to hide him, he wouldn't have been so obvious.

Having said that, the Pats got caught and will get their just desserts, as they say.

My thoughts are that EVERY team does this, and the home team just removes the cameraman from the sidelines....home field advantage, so to speak.

The visiting team shields the coaches from the cameraman with bodies. It was always technically against the rules, but just part of the game for years.

This is what I have heard from a couple of recent coaches on the talk shows and Sirius radio.

Mangini just decided to make a league issue out of it to stick it to Belichick. We all know the rivalry there.
