DeAngelo will not be selected at #4... maybe not even in the top 20 or 25... i think its possible that he will last to 29!!!

The thing is-- look at some other first round RB from the last few drafts. McGahee, L Johnson, Cadilliac, R Brown, Edge, LT, Alexander, R Williams, Deuce McCallister- Those guys are, or will be the best in the league, and they were all first rounders-- Good College RB's usually translate very well to the NFL-- and don't look at injuries, because you can't predict that. Sure there are decent guys in later rounds, but usually there is about one legit starter per year in a late round- like Dom Davis, but it is pretty rare that some 5th rounder, or even a 3rd rounder will come in and produce like these guys I have listed.

thats just silly-- you can't be basing that on what you have seen on the field... or their workouts... or their injury history...or what scouts, and other experts are saying-- why do you like Deangelo better? Please tell us.

My theory is, you are just trying to be the darkhorse guy. Prove me wrong.

If you don't think he is the best player you have ever seen, please let me know who's better. I saw him in every game this year, and this highlight reel just reminds me of how special he really is. I'd LOVE ot have this guy.

There is still the question of endurance. Now I am not saying he CAN'T be a 20-25 carries back, but since it isn't something he is used to, it's a big risk. If CMart was a couple of years younger, and we could rely on him to carry the majority of the load, then it would be worth the risk, but there is no way to know right now if Bush can run a couple of dozen times a game. It's just not worth it. Plus, if we give up all of those picks, what do we do with all of the holes we have?

Man...this is the only dude that I wouldn't be unhappy if the Jets traded up for...

His potential is enormous. Seems like he'd be a Mangini Man also...

...too bad it won't happen.
