How much is saved by cutting DeVito

    No way you cut Devito. A rookie going up against pro lineman is a new ballgame. Beating college kids is one thing.. Devito is proven

    Makes alot of sense; all things being equal a vet is more desirable than an unproven kid. but how good is he really- better than someone like Howard Green, for example, who we had here a couple years ago? He's tough, plays hurt and is a good team player, but does that translate to 3 million bucks?

    A stout 3-4 defensive line will improve the pass rush, by controlling the line.

    I like Devito in run stop. He handles blockers. Not impact player but reminds me of an average pitcher but one who "eats a lot of innings"

    Really, who is going to be a better player, a 4th round prospect, or a proven player? He is worthy of a pick, and that is why someone would trade for him.
