Not to mention *spelled* :up: I think 7-9 at best. We are going to lose a lot of games at the beginning of the season getting used to a new OL, QB, Defense and Coaching Staff. If we manage to avoid injuries, which is highly unlikely, we may steal some wins at the end of the season.

All I see is 9 definite losses and 7 question marks. I can't say we will go in to Tennessee and beat them at home game one. Same thing for the Browns in week 8. We don't know what Kinta or McCown will do with the Lions Offence. They might come in here and lay a 40 spot on our D with all those weapons. Same thing with the Raiders. Hopefully we can take the Bills and Texans at home................ but those other 5 games are really a toss up. Boy, I hope we aren't in the running for 0-16 this year.
Is this a trick question? In a show of optimism I'm thinking 7-9, but I can see 9-7 in a conspiracy of torture, whereby they'd miss out on going 10-6 because of something retarded. Instead of saying, "Yes, a harbinger of good things to come" and being happy with a first year Coach and a new regime, I'll backslide over the missed PO opportunity in a fit of unreasonableness and feel like stabbing myself in the face. But this isn't the same old JETS , so no way in hell that happens. Hehehe. Kidding aside, each win is another peg towards the future, and I truly expect nothing "spectacular" this year. If the record turns out better than expectations, so be it. If we're in the basement, I'll be fine with it as long as they show me something. That's all I ask for this year: For the love of Pete, show me something. I'm sure they will.
If this team wins five games next year, Mangini is a genius. Put me down for 3-13. As Atlanta Jet put it aptly, this team has alot of holes. Anyone who sees anything else will be in for a RUDE awakening.
I'm not going to predict, but I don't think we'll win week 1. New coach going against Fischer, one of the better coaches in the league. Maybe if Vince Young is playing instead of McNair, but we still won't be able to stop the run or score points.

We could go 7 and 9 to 9 & 7 but every time I look at the schedule and try and pencil in a win, I realize that the fans of the team I think we are going to beat look at the Jets as a win on their schedule. (Not sure that makes sense) I don't think we have a very good team but I don't think there are a lot of good teams in the NFL.
