    LOL!

I was hoping that you would prove better than the lameness you have provided in this thread. I know you're capable of it.

    But I guess I don't blame you.

I'm sitting here waiting for a crippled Pats team to smack the Jets and you are sitting there waiting for another rookie-led Jets team to beat the Pats.

    Stalemate?

I'm just amusing myself listening to all the crying up here about letting the durable world class Wes Welker go for the sure to be hurt all year Danny Amendola. It's fuckin' pathetic.

Rex is never gonna have the Pats in a better spot. Scheming for those Rookie receivers who did not handle prime time very well last week at all.

The Pats need healthy dose of Blount, Ridley, and stickum this week.

Wow. Somebody just ate a lemon.

I guess I'll continue, because you are an angry man.

If you only want to talk about the Pats, why aren't you doing it in the two big Pats-Jets threads on the first page?

You seem to be more interested in discrediting the win... and that word starts with W... that happened on Sunday?

It's just a couple of clicks away!

A The Bucs committed a lot of young team penalties that REALLY helped the Jets. and the Bucs Just couldn't get their running game going against the Jets front 7. If the Bucs can cut down the defensive penalties then they'll be okay because not every defense is going to shut down Martin.

I had questions about the Jets defense against the run coming in to this season, this game gave me great hope for the jets against the Run anyways.

Nobody is gonna want Megatron if it means putting your starting QB behind that Detroit OL also.

Don't lump me in with that doofus, and don't pretend you weren't gnashing at the bit to talk about them. I didn't bring them up.

And yes, we will without a doubt talk about this after the game.

Don't smudge your mud mask too angrily. It's just football.

And you make sure to save some of that vagisil for Friday.

BTW, I don't use mud mask. That's just stupid. Dove moisturizer is much better.

I was predicting Bucs as the #6 wildcard before the season began in the NFL forum. You can look it up if you feel so inclined. They addressed their biggest weaknesses during the off season. I'm not pumping them up because the Jets edged them. They had #1 run D last year, and Doug Martin is a young beast. The defense is more balanced this year and yeah, they have Mr. shutdown CB himself, so yeah. Their secondary was responsible for most of their losses last year. This year it will be responsible for wins. They were also ranked #10 in total offense last year, which is good enough to contend with a good defense.

Your main reason for your assessment of the Bucs is because they lost to the Jets. Be honest. Think maybe it had a little something to do with the Jets defense? Nah of course not, it was pure luck. Doug Martin is garbage and Freeman is worse than Sanchez.

Care to make a wager? 8 wins is a push, 9 or more I win, 7 or less, you win. Winner designs a signature pic for the loser and they have to keep it there for the entire off season?

All Jets wins will come with an asterisk as to why we were able to win - lucky play, bad call, stupid penalty, injuries, weather, turf, etc.

When they lose a game it will be because they are a joke.

Beat the Pats tonight - well injuries - who was Tom Brady throwing to?? (oddly the same reasoning we used for Sanchez last season)
Beat Buffalo - well rookie QB and all new coaches
Beat Tennessee - well they have a young QB, struggle on offense, and aren't that good anyway
Beat Atlanta - well they have injuries at receiver and they just didn't show up for a non-divisional game especially after a show down with the mighty Patriots the week before and a bye week coming up
    etc.....

I live in south FL. on the west coast, so Buc's games are the regular NFC game on the local channels. As the Jets are not playing this weekend, I will be watching the Buc's to see just how good or bad they are and as such just how good or bad a team we got our first win against.
