Here's what I see from the schedule:

    Wk 1: @Miami (W)
    Wk 2: NE (L)
    Wk 3: @SD (L)
    Wk 4: Arizona (W)
    Wk 5: Bye
    Wk 6: Cinci (W)
    Wk 7: @Oakland (W)
    wk 8: KC (W)
    Wk 9: @Buffalo (L)
    Wk 10: St Lou (W)
    Wk 11: @NE (L)
    Wk 12: @Tenn (L)
    Wk 13: Denver (W)
    Wk 14: @San Fran (W)
    Wk 15: Buffalo (W)
    Wk 16: Miami (W)

That works out to 11-5 on the season. This is a completely doable scenario. Actually I can see 1 more win in there too against Tennessee and if they were in the Meadowlands I would have made that a Jets win.

i can only look at this team in a positive light.
i can't help but feel every aquisition will have a positive domino effect on the rest of the team. the new aquisitions will be an upgrade on the old, and the remaining players will perform better, due to thier arrival.
also, with a year of starting experience for guys like clemons, revis, harris, can only help them, along with a better supporrting cast.
i'm also sure the players on this team are fired up,which can only bring out the best in them.
let's also not forget the veteran presence of a jenkins, woody, franks, and faneca, along with richardson, and coach callahan. they bring big game experience, and the ultimate motivation, a couple of superbowl rings.
now lets factor in the rest of the division.
the pats, imo, have not upgraded thier team, over last years. to me, they've taken a step backwards, but backwards from an undefeated regular season, is not that bad, but still not as good a team as last years.
the dolphins, lets face it, you had no place to go but up, but not improved enough to make a difference.
buffalo, imo, is the team to watch. i like what they did in the offseason, and the draft, so they could be tough to beat.
overall, i think our boys, and buffalo took giant steps forward, on paper, and if that translates onto the field, i think we both can be playing meaningful games, in december.

The Seattle game is missing, and no one wins in Seattle- so chalk it up to 10-6 with those predictions.

    JD,

I gotta say no way the Jets go 5-1 in the division. When was the last time they did that?
