If Idzik had half a nut in his ballsack he would have taken a superior player at the most important position in all of sports.

    Fuck Idzik.

Well when Idzik takes Mariota this year I'm sure you'll quickly change your tune. :)

I don't know. The driver in Nascar is pretty important ;)

I think he'll do it just because he doesn't want to fail again. How could you chose otherwise and expect to survive this fan base lol

He's already halfway out the door, so he'll only do it if he thinks Mariota can produce as a rookie, I think. It'll also take the right Head coach who has a chance to them Mariota into a franchise player.

After Qb, OT is the 2nd position on my wish list of draftees.

Hopefully Idzik isn't here to make that selection.

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would say that other than because he's black. Intelligence is always the first thing people question when the prospect is black. I just don't get it.

It can literally be argued that Bridgewater had gametape better than Luck's.

RG3 was picked second overall and he is black, so no I don't think its always about the color of your skin.

Bridgewater had one bad day and it cost him, unfortunately too much stock is put on throwing day by the scouts.

I'm just glad that he is going to have a great career in Minnesota.

    +1000.

And I will curse that motherfucker Idzik every day for allowing his ego to prevent him from taking Teddy.

I didn't say it that black QB's aren't drafted high. People questioned Cam's intelligence, Geno's, Tahj, just to name a few. RG3 faces criticism about how he can't run a conventional offense because he can't make reads. Again, questioning intelligence. The only parallel I can find is skin color and the fact that they can all run at least a little bit.

ehh...small sample and that's not really showing much as he's only recorded 61 attempts "under pressure" which is kind of subjective anyway. The overall stats paint a better picture- http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb

He hasn't been very good. Granted he's a rookie...but I wouldnt be sweating missing out on Teddy just yet. The Redskins game he missed a wide open Cordarrelle Patterson for a touchdown....he couldnt have been more open. Carr looks like the best of the bunch so far imo....
